I thought this was going to be a great iron, now all I do is curse while I use it. The temperature change button is right where your thumb would go. Even consciously avoiding it doesn’t help. It changes from linen to nylon or wool CONSTANTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?? NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!

I have used this for about a year now and like the iron very much. I do a lot of ironing and always use steam. My only two complaints are it is heavy and when you wrap the cord it hangs off the iron. It is very irritating.

I graduated from a DW8061 Professional. The old iron got knocked off the ironing board, cracked the tank and it started leaking. I thought it was a good iron but the 9540 is better. It starts with a bumper around the base that protests it if it gets dropped. The steam pump works by pulling the trigger, so it only steams when you are pressing which saves water and keeps the room cooler. It's a two stage trigger so light pull gives you adequate steam an pull harder to get a huge blast of steam. The efficient use of steam also means the tank lasts for half hour of steady ironing. The 1850 watts means it heats up in seconds rather than minutes. The temp selection is accurate, the indicator flashes till the right temp is reached. Go from linen to silk. No more testing to see if the temp is right. Wrinkles melt away on the first pass, reducing ironing time. A great example of the best getting better.

It was easier to use and didn't drip horribly everywhere like the handheld did. I have used this for clothes and I never worry about it damaging my clothes.

I just can’t figure out how to turn it off without unplugging which is annoying when I keep coming back to it and have to iron. I’ve been using it to iron on vinyl and it does work fantastic for that. I love that the steamer doesn’t drip which is ideal for iron on. When I do have to use the steamer it’s so easy to just squeeze the trigger. It comes with a built in stand to make sure there is no tipping. It’s truly a great iron. I’m very happy with it.

I have a number of designer brand clothes that I am afraid to iron because I have ruined a few on the past with typical ironing. The SteamForce Pro takes away that worry with it's easy to read settings that don't fluctuate in temperature like my old steam iron. I work hard to be able to buy nice things for me, and my family. Taking care of our clothes are a major part our budget, so I like how this saves me from having to pay the cleaners to have them looking just as fresh.

I have never tried the Rowenta line of irons and that was my loss. This iron makes ironing so much easier and absolutely love the features of it. Will never use a different brand again
