Much smaller than I expected

This bedspread is beautiful. Lovely pattern and colors. It is a light quilt weight. But it is smaller than it appears in the photo. Do check the dimensions before purchase. I have a deep mattress and this quilt barely fell below the edge of the mattress and did not cover the box springs at all. I was so sad to have to return it.
