Terrible glazing ruins these plates

Loved this set when I first got it. It's very sturdy, chip-resistant and has a great design. However, within a few weeks, the plates were completely scratched up, even with minimal use of knives. I'd gotten 1 set in grey and 1 in white and both look terrible now. Also, a couple of the plates were extremely wonky and don't stack well.
