False Advertising

Wish I could give ZERO STARS. Like many other reviewers who received the wrong items, I placed an order for this item BEFORE THE WEBSITE PHOTOS WERE SWITCHED. This mistake was upsetting enough. What followed was ridiculous. Even though Macy's made the error, it became my responsibility to rectify the situation. For over 6 weeks I had to not only return the wrong items, but I also had to supply Macy's with documentation they should have already had, since it originated from them. Phone calls, emails with inoperative links - Macy's really dropped the ball on this one. I waited to write this until after I received a full refund from Macy's for the order they failed to fill. So, you know, only 6+ weeks of work on my part.

Product Switch Up - Terrible Customer Service

I received 3 boxes with a wrapping paper storage container (1 in each box). I did NOT receive what I ordered and paid for which was 3 orders of 18 gallon Rubbermaid totes - 6 totes per box. I have yet to get a usable return label. What I received was one label for three separate boxes. UPS can only return a single box. I called again to get 3 labels (for 3 boxes), and was on hold for 35 minutes, and did need to hang up. I called again and was told should be emailed 3 labels in 6-8 days. I am on day two and still have no confidence I will get the correct labels in the correct number of 3.

These were ordered twice; sent the wrong item twice. Macys could not help me to get the correct item sent to me. They said probably glitch in the UPC Codes in system.

Wrong merchandise

I ordered 3 orders for Rubbermaid 18 gal totes 6 totes per order. I received 3 separate boxes with a “wrap and craft tote” one per box. Very disappointed I have to reach out about such an issue. This isn’t close to what I ordered.

Fraud.Scam.Slimy

I had the same experience as other reviewers. I ordered the 6-pack of 18-gallon Rubbermaid containers and instead received a single clear wrapping-paper container. This is deceptive, and it’s extremely frustrating that the seller (Spreetail) continues to ship the wrong item. Macy’s hasn’t stepped in to stop it, which makes the situation even worse. When I contacted customer service, they dragged their feet on the refund and tried to get me to keep the incorrect item by offering $30 back instead of fixing the issue. In my opinion, this whole setup feels like a scam. Save yourself the trouble and don’t order this item. Grateful to be able to dispute this with the credit card that offers purchase protection.

Wrong Item Delivered

As a Macy's customer since 2011, I'm truly disappointed that I made this purchase for my granddaughter. Instead of the Rubbermaid 18 gallon storage bins, I received a Wrap & Craft Clear Tote (Base & Lid), which is clearly marked on the box. I'm now reading other reviews having the same issue. If this is a Scam perpetrated by Spreetail, Macy's needs to stops selling their products and protect their Customers from being Scamed. * 0-rating is unavailable.
