Retains odors of what was stored before
Bought these, like others, to keep vegetables, especially salad fixings fresher longer. That they certainly did. I was very impressed. However, as plastic containers, they retain the odor of what was stored and transfer them onto whatever comes later. Everything we put in to the container now has the odors and taste of onions and peppers. If what you intend to store does not have any strong odor they might be great. But, if you store onions, peppers, garlic, etc., they will turn into a 1 use container

Don't Work
I bought three of these and they are a complete joke. My fruits and vegtables are completely moldy after two day. I have tried everything to get my food to last longer in these. My food last longer with out these.

Fruits & veggies stay fresh so much longer!
I bought one of these to try. I tried it on tomatoes first. I put them in completely ripe and they stayed good for a week. No soft spots! Next, I put un ripe bananas. They stay good for twice as long as on the counter. I have bought several. I love them.

Love them except.....
My wife due to health issues has to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. We bought these containers in hopes of keeping those things fresh longer. They seem to work well, except like in over half of the reviews the little tray inserts go missing. I have not found anywhere you can buy them. Please help with a solution Rubbermaid.

great product
I bought two different sizes of this product because my husband wanted to try them and because he knew that Rubbermaid makes very good products. The purchase was made about a year ago and needless to say he loves them! Great job Rubbermaid!

Need to sell replacement inserts!
These produce storage containers are a smart design, good quality. Everyone will lose the bottom insert at some point, therefore it's unacceptable that replacement inserts aren't available for purchase. Please re-think this.

Doesn’t work
This was a waste of money. The food gets moldy possibly faster than if I had it in the grocery store plastic container.

Excellent product - need replacement inserts
I bought this product about a month ago and it has dramatically improved the overall life of our fruit. It’s awesome and our fruit tastes like the day we bought it weeks later. The insert of the large container was thrown away by accident and I can’t find where to purchase a replacement. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
