very comfy

I ordered both 8.5W as well as 9M (8.5W wasn't available in one color) and it was my first time with ryka shoes. I have a bit of a wide foot & high instep/arch. Both actually fit very well! These shoes have a good sized toe box, even in the Med. I probably didn't really need the W but kept it anyway, as the 9M was no longer available by the time I received them. Super comfy - I wore the M's on a trip & they were great! No problem, & they didn't get tight or uncomfy on my instep (which was the orig concern). Highly recommend!

Great fit for a wider foot, narrow heel.

This shoe fits nicely right out of the box. I ordered a half size larger to accommodate my high instep, which can be an issue with shoes that come up higher near the ankle. But these are fine, not too tight. Great for walking around town, errands, but might not give enough support on a hike. Super cute on, though!
