Great fit, color and comfort

I ordered the 8W gray/ silver color after reading many reviews that really praised this color. So happy I did- it truly goes with everything, and the subtle pink/ light blue iridescent trim is a lovely compliment. I have a slightly wide foot at the toebox, and a previous order of Ryka regular width had to be returned. These are perfect with padded running socks or hiking socks, which allows a snug enough fit. As others have stated, I feel I could walk in them for hours.

Alright

Toe box is too narrow even on a wide width the tips of my toes hurt and feel constricted. removing the insoles helps a lot with the toe pain but doesn’t resolve the constricting feeling around my toes. Oddly it does seem to have helped with my plantar fasciitis. The shoe is hard and doesn’t bend to the natural movement of the feet. I usually buy dash 3’s and those never needed a break-in period or gave me foot pain, it just never gave me the arch support I needed so I wanted to try different ryka styles, but none has so far come close to making my feet feel as comfortable as the dash 3’s but with the added arch support.

Almost there

This shoe is a hit and miss but I decided to keep it and hope that after its break-in period i won’t have regretted the purchase. The sole is very hard and doesn’t give way to bending naturally with the feet when walking and the toe box feels constricting like it is flattening the top of my big toe. And since the heel to toe ratio is quite high 14.5mm, it causes my toes to push forward into the front of the shoes adding more discomfort. On the other hand, it seems to have alleviated my plantar fasciitis and really for that reason is why I’m keeping it and hope that after the break in period the other problems I have with it will go away
