Bad Smell

The boots are cute and comfortable but the pair I received have a terrible smell. I thought it would go away, especially after being in Yosemite for 3 days, but it didn't.

Very Comfortable and warm

Comfort with some added H2O protection

The Halo is a good-looking, super comfortable boot. I haven't tested the water resistance yet, but it should be fine except in the wettest conditions. Because the tongue is not gusseted, the potential for water to get inside is real. After walking around briefly in them I can say they feel like my daily athletic shoes more than a rugged trail boot, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Hiked AZ Red Rocks

Hiked AZ Red Rocks in these bad boys & not a sore foot was to be had! I’m talking sun up to sun down. They kept my feet dry & cozy. Only issue was they were “smelly” when I first received them. I put baby powder inside & put them in the sun every day for about a week to get the smell out before wearing.

Love these boots.

I am very pleased with my halo boots. They did not need any breaking in whatsoever. They are very comfortable and supportive. They also have a heel design that works with ice spikes, keeping them securely on the boot. Spikes slide right off of boots with a rounded rolling heel design. I only wish there were a full length version to deal with our 200 inches of annual snow. I can wear them at the beginning and end of winter only.

I love the way they gently hug my feet

I love the way they gently hug my feet. Very supportive. Sturdy construction. Light weight. I don’t want to take them off. When you walk in them you roll. And for this style of boots compared to other companies these look very feminine and sexy.
