Pro's & Con's on this model shoe
These are a little hard to review...on one hand, I absolutely love these shoes! They're so comfortable, fit is perfect and I love the look of them! But, I am a medical student, specifically, in an OR position; and my current and future job require that I am on my feet and on the go, constantly. I'm also a mom. Sitting down just doesn't exist for me. Unfortunately, I've only had these shoes for about a month and have used them, daily, for work and it feels like they're already breaking down. My feet are really starting to throb by the end of my shift. I want to buy more, but I'm also a little concerned about the life of the shoe. I don't want to be having to replace my work shoes every month! That will get very expensive, very quickly.

Uncomfortable, Love the look.
I have worn Ryka shoes for over 5 years. Each time seems as the quality is going down. The left shoes rubs my big toe which makes it uncomfortable. Shoe strings won't stay tied, its pretty annoying. Not as much cushion as I would like. I thought I would try a different shoe, it doesn't work for me. I will have to stick with the Devotion 3, they seem to work better for me.

Great fit but not fit to walk through dewy grass
I like the fit and durability of the shoe. However, when the shoe gets wet (from walking in grass in the early morning), the color black bleeds through and turns my socks and feet black. I even treated with water resistant spray and it still happens!

Just what I needed!
I have been wearing these shoes for three weeks and I am very happy with them. I have very specific needs from my shoes, and these meet my needs quite well. Also, they are much more affordable than what I had been buying for athletic shoes. I recommend them.

Trail Shoes for serious trekkers
As an active, longtime user, I own many different styles of Ryka shoes. The fit is always spot on and I feel like they are fashion forward. This is my latest purchase. It offers good traction, but I have to wear them with padded socks since they don’t offer a lot of protection if you’re trekking over rocky terrain.

Great Hiking/Walking Shoe-Plenty of Room in Toe
I've purchased hiking boots that did not have the room these shoes have in the toe box (I ordered wide.) and when I walk my toes do not keep hitting the top of the shoe and I have really wide feet. The material and structure of the shoe allow for feet to expand after extended walking/hiking with plenty of support for all areas of your foot and lots of cushion to absorb impact of walking/hiking, as well as a great grip along the sole of this shoe. I do not feel uneasy walking across different terrains of rock, gravel, sand, cobblestones, or wet surfaces. If you need ankle support, these are not a shoe for you. I absolutely love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone needing a well-built, wide shoe, for extended walking across different terrains.
