Assembly Required. Threads are missing

The lamp requires assembly. The directions state to screw the neck into the base, but with no threads in the neck or the base, it won't stay in and falls off to one side. I returned and put a note in the box to explain the issue. Hoping they resolve for the next customer, since it is very beautiful, nice price, and I was very disappointed it didn't work out for me.
