do not buy

These rugs are horrible. I washed them twice and each time there was so much lint. Each time I cleaned the lint filter (multiple times during drying) there was at least an inch of lint. Lint was all int the washer and dryer. They take at least 2 hours to dry. They are not soft and after a few days they are a matted mess. I returned them to Macys and usually Macys is top quality these are not. Do not waste your time and money.

Do Not Buy

I bought this set in blue. First of all, there were about 6 to 8 tiny black ants on the rugs. Killed a few and the rest were dead the next day. Washed the rugs on delicate cycle. The washer had so much fuzz in my washer. Shook them out outdoors and more fuzz flew all over. Dried them for a while in the dryer and the dryer was full of fuzz. I lost at least half (if not more) of the cotton pile. I never saw such a mess! Threw them in the garbage.

If you order this rug you will be disappointed. The mat was shedding threads immediately. Poor quality. Received on a Wednesday afternoon and returned the very next day.

My quest for a better bathroom rug

I chose this beautiful bathroom rug in ivory. After reading the reviews, I decided not to buy any padding. I shook it out(per instructions) because there will be left over remnants of fibers after finishing hand stitching. I walked on it and it felt really nice on my bare feet and I decided I was satisfied with it the way it came without padding. I would definitely recommend it. Very happy with my purchase.
