Sam Edelman Boots
I love these beautiful boots
Love!
Saw these boots and fell in love. I wear a solid 7 in all shoes but in trying these on, my toes touched the top of the boot so I opted for a 7.5 (my feet are normal width). The 7.5 fit perfectly and I can’t wait to wear them.
I Wanted To Love This Ankle Boot…But
The Sam Edelman Women’s Laguna Lug-Sole Chelsea Booties are pretty, but they are unfortunately very uncomfortable to wear. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed by a Sam Edelman bootie fit, design, and materials. I have a narrow foot and ankle and usually wear a true Size:7. I had to return the 7 for a 7.5 thinking a half size larger bootie would improve the overall fit and comfort, I was disappointed again, after wearing the 7.5 size bootie for an hour, because the interior materials were rough and caused blisters to form on my heels and outer toes. The boot is overall too stiff and tight, difficult to get on, rubs the heels and toes, and pinches the outer toes even though the toe box is a square-toed design. Each Fall/Winter season, I usually purchase 3-4 of the Sam Edelman platform booties, because they’re like walking on clouds, comfortable, and well made. Sam Edelman Company needs to go back to their 2023-2024 platform bootie designs, sizing, and materials.
fell apart 10 months in
I loved these boots, they are stylish and not to under or overstated. Sadly, the rubber outsoles completely fell apart after 10 months of use. I did not expect this kind of quality for the price point. I love the style of these chelsea boots, but the quality is just not worth it at this price point. Boots should last more than 10 months.
