The problem with the controls was just some dirt and I love the fake flames plus I time my friends EV stove and mine was 2x fast WOW.Plus the Samsung hood turns on when I'm making eggs plus the design is so sleek and futuristic plus with smart home THE CONNECTIVITY IS SO GREAT.

Induction is quick
Love the feature that the induction turns off automatically when not in use. Buffer issue that drops the final start is the cooktop shuts off to quickly. In the process of removing one ingredient from the pan to add the next ingredient (less than a min), cooktop will have shut off the burner and the entire cooktop.

knob isn't great, and heating is uneven
I love to cook and have used induction before this. So, that helps put some context around this review. I purchased the cooktop as I wanted the physical knob, and I liked the hood syncing that was advertised. My hood is not installed yet, so I will just focus on the cooktop, which I have been using daily for 2 weeks. The knob - It ain't great, but it is helpful. I was hoping this would be a game-changer. Our previous Samsung range had touch controls, and while it worked, it was touchy, and when your hands were wet, it was hard to use. Sometimes when you spin the knob, nothing happens. Sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes it skips from level 5 to 14. It's annoying, but I think the pros outweigh the cons. Still, some improvement is likely needed. Cooking - I love induction. Water boils super fast, and you have fine control. The larger burner really suffers from not having even heating. I have tried cast iron and 5-ply All-Clad pans. I have tried heating them slowly and fast. The center of the pot gets very hot, while the edges remain cooler. From my reading, this means that there aren't coils over the entire surface of the cooktop. It's super annoying and disappointing. Flex zone - this works well for griddles and the shape is great vs some of the other brands i looked at. Overall - It does the job. It didn't break the bank, and it has a physical knob, which most other cooktops don't have.

Cooktop as advertised
My new cooktop is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it to switch from gas to electric for safety and save $. I was paying a lot more for gas- filling tank 3 times a year. I only expect to fill 2 times this year. And next year only one. Only for heating. My wife cooks 3 meals a day and bakes. Thank you

Best stove I’ve ever cooked on!
This is the best stove I’ve ever cooked on in my life. I’ve used gas and electric ones before. This one, however offers a whole new cooking experience. It just makes cooking so much more enjoyable. Features like the water will never boil over as it automatically adjusts for you make such a difference. All the meals we’ve cooked on ours come out absolutely perfect. I may not be the best cook or chef in the world, but this stove top makes me look a little better at it. Overall, I love it. I never knew what I was missing in my life until we bought this!

highly recommend
We have had this cook top for 5 months and use it every single day.Sometimes two or three times a day. It is so easy to use, Temperature stays true, quick response, very even cooking. So easy to clean, We use just a little damp microfiber cloth. Still looks like it has never been used! Looks brand new. Also received the Circulon set, perfect. The virtual flame is super cool. Everyone who comes over to see our new kitchen absolutely loves the cooktop and asks all kinds of questions about it. Highly recommend.
