Excellent TV

This TV is wonderful. Super easy to use. I love that the remote is solar powered. My only beef is the subscription buttons, like Netflix and Disney, are on the remote and cannot be disabled.

Our third Samsung TV

My wife and I are seniors and decided to buy a reliable TV when our last one died. We have 2 smaller Samsungs so were already inclined to stay with the brand. We love everything about this set except for one problem - the remote. There is no colour differentation to speak of, so it's difficult at times to see what buttons we are accessing. It is also extremely sensitive to the touch in the ring area and will often skip to something we don't want it to. Returning to a previous channel can be an irritant. In dim lighting we often find that we have inverted the remote (that hard to see ring selector is also tactilly difficult to negotiate with old/insensitive finger tips) and end up on Disney instead of where we want to go. The one saving grace of the remote is that it does not require batteries as it has a solar panel that actually functions.

Complicated television

I bought my television well over a year and a half ago. Yesterday it works well when it is connected to the correct internet but it is far too complicated for me. As far as I am concerned these new televisions don’t pass the test as they work only if you are tech savvy which I am not. I prefer my old tv nothing fancy just a simple tv.
