Doesn't work

It's a 256 g drive but im not allowed to load in 42 gs of pictures from my phone it says there not enough space... Can this be fixed at all?

It works

Used to transfer large video files to a friend. Worked well. Slow to copy 130GB onto it but about how fast as I would expect
