They are very comfortable, but I personally think they run a tad small vs typical US brands - it's really a case of who came first: chicken or egg - meaning, there are 2 types of manufacturers, those who stick to true sizes (like these) and those who cater to American consumer who tends to be on the oversized side, so they label products with smaller sizes to make consumers feel better. Thus, while I normally wear 9 on reg shoes, here I need a 10. Other Brands like MUK LUK & TOMMY would be a 9 in sandals [I'm 5'10", 31" waist, 188lbs, w regular width - although, again vs typical US male who's heavier & wide(r)-footed, I'm prob considered narrow-footed]. Anywho, these are solid, with small details to avoid being fully plain. They are comfy and only complaint is the silly island map print on the side, which looks more like a MISTAKE you made painting with these on and got paint on them - I blacked them out with a sharpie and look miles better.
