falling apart

I purchased 2 of these in April, I just noticed that the braiding on both sides is coming loose? I called today 6/28 (made 3 phone calls and I was hung up on, on 2 of them) and was told it was to late to return them, because it was past the 30 days allowed for the return. Not a Happy long term Customer.
