Look to other hardboard placemats!
These cork boards are already beginning to fray on the sides after only a few weeks of use. The cork doesn’t seem as thick as other hardboard placemats we have. We are a bit disappointed.
Well made dark wood appearance placemat.
Rigid cork backed placemat, looks great and can be wiped clean with damp cloth.

Looks amazing
These mats look amazing on my table. They are light wright and durable. they are easy to clean. They are made with very good material. The color looks just like a real tree. I would definitely recommend this.

Okay
I was expecting these to look more realistic. However, the product is much lighter in color than the image shown and more washed out. The image shown looks realistic and you can see nice grain and color variation. Setting these placemats, the heart of the tree is covered and so they just look like a table mat with rings or designs. They are a neat idea that I was super excited for but they don't look very realistic. It would also be neat if there were 2 to 4 different patterns to make them look more realistic instead of 4 identical mats. Perhaps an imperfect edge like a tree, not a perfect cylinder, would help too. The positive note to end on is that the cork bottom is very nice for staying in place and not scratching the table. The size is also adequate.
