Great for young kids

Even though I'm a diehard adult collector, I will say these are quite neat little horse sets for the younger generation who might not be as avid on collecting as the older kids. Well I know there's plenty who don't feel very fond of the new Schleich with hair I will say these are really neat for young kids who are not quite at the collector stage and may just want to play and enjoy having a miniaturized version of a real horse. I feel like these strike great opportunities for imaginative play. The quality of the horses are a lot thinner and lighter weight than the regular Schleich but still have really unique detailing to them. I like all of them concepts of Sofia's beauties. This particular set comes with Caramelo, a beautiful flaxen mane and tail sorrel horse.

Love the interchangeable hair!

We love the fact that we can change the mane and tail between the horses. That is so clever and my kids love that aspect. We wish the hair accessories were easier to clip on. I do think this would be a nice gift for an older child and we love the thought put into Schleich's new line. Kim is my kids' favorite people to play and imagine with.
