Best quality eyeshadow I've ever used!
These eyeshadows are creamy and smooth. They don't look chalky on, and they don't exaggerate wrinkles on mature skin. I had my doubts about paying this much for eyeshadow palettes. I must say, this is better than other department store shadows. What drew me in is the purple drama shadow. There's nothing else like it! There are a couple of shadows that enhance blue eyes---it is the silver one and the light blue. I recommend this palette to other makeup lovers.

This palette is very different than anything else that is out there. I have a large eyeshadow collection, but this is a different kind of cool-toned palette and it is beautiful. The blue shade, Editorial, is amazing. It combines nicely with all the shades. These eyeshadows blend very nicely and most are opaque. The shimmer, Talk to My Agent is my favorite in this palette. What a sparkle! On the List and Globe-Trotter are duochromes. The black works well as eyeliner. All of the dark mattes can be used as liner. Dayrate is a really neat color. It's gray-based olive green that is unlike anything I've used. The quality is on the high end. This reminds me of Sydney Grace, but the formula is definitely unique. The only negative is that this does fade quickly if you don't use an eye primer. With primer, I got about 6 hours before noticeable fading. I can totally work with this and this is the best eyeshadow I've bought from Macy's.
Scott Barnes Eye Palette
I'd never heard of this brand but noticed this while browsing eye palettes. Even during Macy's VIP sale, I still thought this palette was pricey but I made the splurge since I thought the colors would complement my green eyes. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily blended the shadows were and their opaqueness. I took off a star because of the price, but I would definitely try other products in this brand, especially while offered at Macy's which is probably my favorite store.
