As usual, the product works. I have excellent results from Scotts products and enjoy the convenience of a subscription.

Didn't work as advertised.
Applied the product as the label directed. I waited 3 weeks and saw no change. I reapplied the granules over the older growth and well as new bright green moss that has just emerged. I do not have any confidence that this application will do anything. I do not recommend this product.

Hi, we're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts MossEx and appreciate your feedback. This can happen if the product is applied at the wrong time or the temperatures were too hot for the product to work. If there was a heavy rain (exceeding 1" of rainfall) within 1 to 2 days of the application it could have been washed away. A 1/2 inch is okay, but the product can be washed off if there is an inch or more of water. If the lawn was dry the product will not stick to the moss or grass blades. The more moss that is exposed the better the coverage. If there is no indication that the moss is dying after 2 or 4 weeks a reapplication may be needed. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee. If for any reason you, the consumer, are not satisfied with the results after using this product, you are entitled to get your money back. Simply a tough Mosss season
I have used this product in the past with great success! This year the moss seems to be super strong. I have applied two applications per the settings on the bag with a DLX spreader. I'm finding a lot of extra arm work with raking it out.
