Terrible
First of all, out of the packaging the mattress pad stinks so you have to wash it. Then, even though it states "100% cotton" - it isn't and the backing melted in the dryer even though the dryer was set at "low". The backing is some kind of cheap fabric - not even close to cotton! I am very disappointed!

Washing drying issue
It melted in my brand new dryer, which has dried other bedding perfectly. Use low air setting on yours I guess

It smells!
This is the worst smelling linen product I've ever opened. It smells like body odor and spicy food. Maybe I was sent a return. I washed it twice in hot water and the smell is gone. I think the mattress pad is nice other than that. It seems to be well made.

Mattress pad
Extremely disappointed with this mattress pad. I washed and dried it 1 time and it shrunk so much, that it no longer fits the mattress. Not happy!

Very nice, good quality
The back lining is woven fabric unlike many mattress pads. Nonwoven fabrics can shred when you wash them so this pad hold up better than pads with nonwoven polyester backing and sides. The sides are knit fabric. I'm happy with it.
