Way too large - sizing confusing

The sizing on the dress when ordering was confusing. Was the size 14 a US size or a UK size? I had assumed that, since it was a UK dress, the size was a UK size. When the dress arrived it was apparently a US size 14 but a UK size 18 - huge! After waiting so long for this dress to arrive and being disappointed, I will never buy from a third party vendor even if it is through Mcy's.

LOVE IT!

Love this dress! The fit, the color, the linen is nice and thick, unlike other linens that are so thin and see through. I am 5'7", 150lbs, 36 chest and I got a 6. Glad I purchased it!
