Not as advertised!

disappointing purchase - I was looking for everyday white wine glasses that would fit in my dishwasher. After checking many sites I found the write up of your glasses, a set of 6 that were 7" tall. The glasses arrived 8" tall (do not fit in the dishwasher) and only 5 glasses arrived.

disappointing wine glasses

I was looking for everyday white wine glasses that would fit in my dishwasher, they could be no taller than 7". I searched many places and was pleased when I found 7" (as described) at Macys. I ordered the set of 6 glasses. What arrived was 8" tall AND there were only 5. Very disappointing, not only do they not fit in my dishwasher but the description said they were a set of 6

Pretty and sturdy

I just received these and I have not had a chance to use the glasses yet. Based on my initial assessment the glasses are fine for an any day white table wine or even water. The rim is thick and the bowl is narrow the stem is a little short. So I wouldn't recommend using these for that special bottle of wine you plan on savouring. These will serve my purpose because my other wine glasses are delicate and break very easily but they're also expensive. I don't want to continue buying expensive wine glasses just to have a glass of wine after a long day and risk breaking my nice wine glasses.
