Spits out dirty water
I would give zero stars if I could. I have had four different replacements sent out. I started out with the model below this one. Most recent replacement was this model. And it had the same issue the second time I used it and It is yet again, spitting dirty water out of the motor exhaust vents. I would like to add I only use shark products in it, dump it when it is full(which is very often) I take very good care of my things and I use them correctly according to the manual. Despite this, though, I have had terrible luck with this carpet shampooer. Thankfully, they do have a great warranty but at this point, it’s been a hassle. I have had many shark products and I love them all. This is the first one that I would not recommend and I would never purchase it again.

Missing ground prong
I was excited to use this was o clean my couch today. I got it all set up to use went to plug it in and discovered the grounding prong is missing from the electrical plug.

Don't waste your money
This is by far the worst carpet cleaner we have owned. It is a pain to operate because if you want it to stop spraying cleaning fluid you have to switch it to "quick dry" mode on the body of the cleaner. The capacity of the dirty water reservoir is so small and there is no heat. I also feel that on high pile carpet it does not extract enough of the water. After cleaning and using the quick dry mode I was still able to get a lot of liquid out of the carpet using the hand tools. I am extremely underwhelmed and wish I had stuck with our previous brand.

Easy to move, Picks debris right up.
After using multiple carpet cleaners I think I finally found the ONE. This cleaner is easy to move, and bring up the stairs behind me. I have a family of 6 so our stairs are a high traffic area. 5th time using this machine and hasn’t let me down yet!

Started out great after 6 months it fizzled out.
I have had Shark Carpetxpert with stain striker for a 1yr and a half. At first use it was great then it went downhill after that. Six months after owning it, the Oxy Multiplier no longer distributes anything out , absolutely nothing comes out , the amount I put in the blue bottle is the same amount I pour back in the bottle. The cleaner itself doesn't suck up much water which leaves the carpet slopping wet. I have to put my foot and apply a little pressure to get it to suck anything out. Yesterday I went to use the carpet cleaner and not only is the carpet soaking wet in spots but the carpet doesn't look any cleaner than before. My carpet is less than 4yrs old! Im usually pro shark products but this one so poor that My feelings about shark products is starting to diminish.
