This is a nice vacuum, but it’s difficult for me to maneuver with arthritic hands. The cord is extremely long and difficult to wind. Loo I prefer the shark rocket vacuum cleaner which is slightly lighter and weight.

New vacuum pirchase
I think it's great. It does the job and it's not as cumbersome as some of the other models with larger canisters that I've tried. I've heard people complaining about the cord being stiff...I think it's fine. I have parquet floors and a few rugs and carpets. I'm not crazy about the scented deodorizer. Its a good idea but I don't like the scent

Amazing product for the price point
For years had a cheap, heavy, upright, corded vacuum that did the job but was falling apart and needed replacing. Initially bought a cordless stick vacuum (not Shark brand... first mistake) that had thousands of good reviews. I immediately had buyers remorse. The suction power was atrocious, and the battery range anxiety was real. Could not vacuum my modest 1300sq ft house thoroughly without the red light flashing on the unit. Decided to go back to a corded stick vacuum and am more than happy I picked this one. The cord is long enough that I can reach everywhere on the main floor from 1 outlet and the suction is phenomenal (have a labrador that sheds a lot). I like that it remains upright for storage, and that it has a deodorizer (although, scent may not be for everyone). The tangle free ability of the brush to not catch hair is also nice; no more regular brush cleaning. There are a few cons, but more suggestions of improvements; 1) green light instead of an LED would help see dirt significantly better; 2) articulation mid stick like other models to really get underneath beds; 3) more flexible cord as this one is a bit frustrating to unravel and ravel up; 4) small waste container, although, I empty it after each use. Needless to say, I am so happy with the unit I purchased a second one for the cottage.

Excellent Stick That Delivers
We loved our Shark Cannister Vacuum but after it died (15 Years) we were sad to see that Shark no longer makes a Cannister Vacuum. This stick is an excellent substitute. Good features, robust construction, strong brushing and suction engineering, reasonably light, and reasonably sized dust cup. If you are looking for convenience combined with excellent cleaning, this is your product. And at one-third the cost of the high-end products.

I love the vacuum so much. I do wish the canister was bigger and there was a light on the top but it works amazing and very light weight

The Cord
Read the reviews and saw that there was a lot of complaints about the cord being way too stiff, assumed that that issue had been rectified by now., my mistake. Based on that problem alone I would not buy this vacuum again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

why does the power cord run out the top? and the part on the base of vac to store the top of the vac which makes no sense since it already stands on it own its unnecessary so it won't allow me to get under my bed. my last shark vac power cord ran down not up and it went under my bed no problem
