Great Vacuum!
I’m a vacuum cleaner enthusiast. So much so that I always visit the vacuum section in any department store. And I we love this machine. If it did any better it would vacuum the stains right out of the carpet. And sometimes after I finish cleaning with it. I swear it has done just that. Now that we own this. Me and my husband fight over who gets to vacuum the house. Because we love this product so much!

No doubt about the cleaning ability of this beast
Have had for a month and all I can say is this thing is a beast. First use and I thought my carpet was clean till I saw what this was pulling up. The suction is amazing. Now back to it being a beast. It’s heavy and not easy to maneuver. This is not for the weak or elderly. It’s a workout with every use. But clean carpets and hardwood floors is what you’ll get. The hose has almost no stretch when you detach the tank, but maybe with time it’ll not be so cumbersome to use.

low quality cord and not good detect feature
I don't think the detect feature works well. When I'm vacuuming on high pile carpets, it doesn't move to that level, but keeps it at low pile carpet. Plus the cord is very rigid and not easy to work with.

The Shark PowerDetect — A Domestic Thriller
This vacuum is the best thing I own, and I’m genuinely concerned by how much I enjoy using it. It has the aggressive, "move-over-or-die" energy of a lifted Dodge Ram—the headlights are so unnecessarily bright they don’t just find dust; they expose the sins of the previous homeowners. The Auto-Detect feature is pure dopamine. The second it hears a crumb, it revs its engine like it’s at a drag strip, and I’ve never felt more powerful. The only downside? It fills up after exactly one room. It is both incredibly satisfying and deeply insulting to realize I’ve been living in a literal dirt pit this whole time. I’m currently averaging three trips to the trash can per floor, and honestly? I’m not even mad. Buy this if you want to be blinded by LEDs and humbled by your own carpet.

Just stop working
I bought this earlier this year and I went to use it and its like there is no power going to it but I checked and it is plugged in, If this has happen to anybody please tell me how to fix this. I paid alot for this

WORST VACUUM EVER
tPurchased Oct 2025. Constant problems. Will turn completely off after about 5 min run time. The selection buttons on handle does not go to the right settings. Now is vibrating so it's chugging across carpet. Has no suction. The vacuum has been the WORST vacuum I've ever used. And I've been a shark owner for over 20 years. And their website has no chat features or phone number. I really feel like I've been taken advantage of by a dishonest business.

Worst vacuum cleaner don't recommend
I brought one of these and it didn't last a day. It started smoking up my room after one day. I WAS NOT offered a warranty for it nor was I offered any replacement parts for it. Also hair keept getting caught up in it as well. Overall I had to throw it away due to no warranty or replacement parts. I would love either a new one or replacement for it. I can't get through to the number you all gave me on hold for at least 15 -20 mins.

Hands down - Dyson is Better
I had a Dyson Ball and my daughter and her husband thought I needed a Shark Powerdetect. They were very wrong. I didn’t need a workout but that’s what I got with the Shark. Hands down the Dyson Ball is better. The Shark kept trying to change from low pile carpet to either floor or thick carpet/area rug; the carpet is the same throughout the house , low pile. Going forward the automatic worked ok but when vacuuming I tend to go back and forth, especially in smaller areas. I would not recommend this product.
