Shark is the smartest smart vacuum I have owned
Every couple of years I have upgraded my robot vacuums to take advantage of new technologies and options. I recently upgraded my fleet of two Neatos (Roomba was before them) to the Shark AI and have found some very impressive design considerations and improvements by Shark. Setting up the robot is a breeze especially due to its voice prompts. The Shark is a 2.4 GHz WiFi device and was able to join my 2.4 band natively and without me having to disable the 5 GHz dual band, which I appreciated. After I was up and running it next mapped my home and detected which floors contained carpet. I have to say that the mapping was the most accurate I have experienced with robot vacuums and is a very accurate match to my home’s actual floorplan/blueprints. The LIDAR navigation enables the robot to intelligently navigate without constant collisions, and I found that it is very adept at managing unexpected obstacles, such as toys left out on the floor. Prior vacuums would push these unexpected items or get caught on them, but the Shark navigates around them without issue. While the roller is not as large as some others I have experienced, actual vacuum performance is every bit just as good which was a surprise. A significant win for Shark is that it has a self-cleaning brush roll that eliminates getting bogged down by hair and lint – with long haired pets this has been a real issue in past vacuums but no longer! The vacuum can operate at different intensity modes, but unfortunately these are not selectable options when scheduling the vacuum to run on its own. Related, I did find that the battery capacity is not as robust as other vacuums so it is not able to clean entire 2,000 square foot levels in one go. This is fine, but when the vacuum returns to its base to charge mid-cleaning cycle that recharge can require more than an hour of downtime. As a result, cleaning a 2,000 square foot level will require a bit over four hours. The app only sends push notices for errors and not of completion, unfortunately, but I must say that this robot is the most self-sufficient one I have owned and despite it not sending me much information during and after a scheduled cleaning, I can rely on it to always deliver a completed job. Mopping is also excellent and intelligent, with zero cleaning fluid discharged onto carpeted surfaces. Overall I am very impressed with the vacuum and love the improvements Shark has introduced.

Helps keep my floor clean!
I have 3 dogs so my floor can get pretty dirty with all the dog hair. I love that I can set a time everyday for my Shark Robot Vacmop to automatically start. It takes about 2 hours for it to clean the bottom half of my house and it actually picks up a lot of hair! The only thing is that I have to empty it halfway through the cleaning but that’s really no big deal. This is a great product and I recommend to anyone in the market for a new robot vacuum.

Worth every penny!!

Clean floor without any work
I have 2 cats and their furs are everywhere. Can you tell by my spotless floor that I have 2 hairy cats? This robot does its job. I don't have the time and energy to vacuum and mop daily. This robot can go under the bed, under all the furnitures. It's not as loud as the normal vacuum, my cats don't have to run and hide. I bought a Bissell robot and had to return because it kept running into furnitures, and I needed to rescue it. I wish I had bought it sooner, it would help me save so much time from cleaning.
