Shavel electric blanket

I find it quite comfortable and satisfactory, but my wife thinks it is uncomfortably heavy, although I don't think it is heavier than the 2 or 3 covers we were using before. Neither of us likes that the light goes out in the controllers, which makes it difficult to see the setting, or even i the blanket is on.

Wrong item, long shipping and bad customer service

PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FROM MACYS! On 12/7 I ordered this blanket. I finally received it 12/19. What I received was the correct receipt with the wrong blanket! I’m posting pics. I called customer service and spoke to a man named “Chester” who informed me he was from the Philippines (idk why he told me that) but he stated he does work for Macys and the only thing he can do is initiate a refund which would take 10 BUSINESS days to be credited or ship the correct one which would take 2-4 business days (to process) then would be shipped which means I wouldn’t receive my mom christmas present until after the first of the year & who knows if it would be correct yet again. He offered me no express shipping even though this was their fault and said these were my only 2 options. Very unhelpful. I have never had this problem with Macys but I’m glad this was the only thing I ordered from there. In all my year’s shopping with Macys I will not again

Examine product carefully before use.

I received a “factory second” with defective stitching on the quilted surface. There were even tiny taped arrows on the blanket indicating the missing stitching sections. I didn’t notice this until blanket was on the bed. Otherwise, the blanket fabric and thickness is nice, including the electronics.
