One of the better mineral sun blocks I use (olive skin)

I liked it. TL;DR - high SPF, skin-like finish, doesn't sting my eyes, and very comfortable on my oily/textured skin. I do not wear foundation, so cannot speak to how well it sits under makeup. I have olive skin, larger pores, and am in my early 30s. I use my cleanser in the morning and pat dry thoroughly - this is KEY - because any excess moisture from water - WILL - create white cast. Personally, I skip my regular moisturizer. As stated, I have very oily skin, and this doubles as both "regular" moisturizer and sunblock. In my experience, the "skin improvement" benefit that this sunblock touts does* ring true. I'm extremely picky about lotions/foundations, and I need them to NOT exacerbate the look and cloying feel of shine and grease. It does have a bit of dewiness, but just enough to blur fine lines and larger pores. Again, I don't wear makeup or other moisturizers regularly with this sunblock, but I can see it feeling like too much if I did layer. I do like Shiseido's chemical sunscreen (the deeper/cerulean blue bottle) - but only for body... I find that it's too greasy for my face. It's a little tackier, but at least it is moisturizing, and I don't notice it as long as I'm not wearing stuff over it or nothing else it touching my skin in the applied areas.

The best mineral sunscreen

I love this, it's the best mineral sunscreen I've ever used. It doesn't leave a white cast on me, goes on easily with a silky texture, and doesn't leave marks on seats/clothes. I haven't gone swimming while wearing it yet but I'm hopeful.

Not really a mineral sunscreen

I'm so disappointed that this formula contains Butyloctyl Salicylate, a chemical sunscreen "booster", which is just as irritating as Octisalate, and is almost completely identical at the molecular level.

Great with oily skin

I absolutely love this sunblock, I have extra oily skin and this stays in place so much better than others I have used. I really like how it looks and feels on its own or under makeup. I also really like that I do not look extra oily at the end of the day, I would not say it helps with oil control, but it does not add to the priblem
