Perfect everyday knife - the “go to”!

Was gifted a set of premiers from a dear friend last year. Instantly fell in love w Shun and added both the smaller and full size santoku while on sale. The 5. 5” has become my everyday go to knife for at least 80% of my needs in the kitchen. Will add more as time goes by but very pleased w the purchase.

Chipped in 2 places after 6 months of use

Bought it from Cutlery & More as a set. After 6 months of use, there are 2 big chipped on the blade. Thankfully (I hope) the chips were not mixed with the food or it will cause severe damage if ingested. It is shape but the steel is very brittle. Use for normal cutting and not even chopping or on hard vegetables nor meats. Very disappointed of the quality for such an expensive blade.

Amazing Knife

2 words" WOW" This is my 2nd knife. The quality of theses are just Amazing. The look and the style is beyond compare. The sharpness is like no other knife I have ever used. There is a learning curve for sure. You may think your old knives were sharp but not compared to these. You learn how to cut all over again.
