Don't bother if you aren't pasty white
This device is advertised as suitable for all skin tones. I have very pale brown skin, 3-4 on the 1-6 skin tone chart in the user manual and the sensor flashed orange on automatic mode and level 1, indicating my skin was too dark for any use at all. Extremely disappointing. In addition, the user manual highlights further risks to people with darker skin which aren't in the FAQs on the website. So false claims and lack of transparency.

Sleek and modern hair removal
I wanted the Silk’n 7 Black hair removal tool to help my significant other get rid of his back hair. He doesn’t particularly like how hairy his back is, and i don’t like being the one who has to shave it all the time lol. So when I saw this was up for testing, I was like, OH Heck yeah! I first read through all the directions, because that is an important first step, you should not go into this blindly. The storage case is first class, and it includes 3 different treatment heads, a cleaning cloth, a disposable razor with 5 blades, and the cord to plug it into the wall. The length of the cord is about 67-68” long, as my best guess. It is longer than I am tall, and I am 63” tall. The device works well If you keep your hands on the metal parts of the handle. It works by conducting energy from you to turn on. The only downside of this is my partner cannot snap his own back and I have to do it for him. In order for the device to work on his back with me holding the tool, he has to always be touching me. Which is not that big of a deal I suppose. Anyway, we started this hair removal journey in May 2025 and followed the timeline of when each session should be done. We stopped at the beginning or mid September I believe, and waited for his hair to grow out for a bit to take another picture. I don’t remember how many sessions it takes to see real results, but apparently it is quite a few when you look at my before and after pictures, his back hair is about the same. The tool itself works great, it automatically senses the skin color, or you can choose your own level of intensity if you like. Easy to zap the hair, especially if you slide the device down the back, if you pick up at each zap, it does take a bit longer to charge and zap. I am open to continuing the hair removal journey as it really doesn’t take that long to do his entire back. Hopefully I can come back and review in a years time and show those long term use results.

I received this AMAZING hair laser removal from Influenster. When I say I’m obsessed!! I’m so happy that I received this. Love how smooth my skin is! It works!!
I’ve been using the Silk’n Infinity 7 Black for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s really is painless, and I started noticing slower regrowth after just 2–3 sessions, especially on my underarms and legs. Cost effective in the long run
I received this product for free from Influenster and Silk’n in exchange for my honest review. I really like that it includes 3 different sized attachments and has a rotatable head to make it easy to reach any spot on your body. The storage/travel case is a really nice addition too. All in all i think this is a really solid alternative to laser hair removal. Since it's not recommended to use if you've have an "active tan", I look forward to trying this thing out once summer comes to an end and my skin is no longer being exposed to the sun! Will update my review when i do!

best device in the market
loving this IPL hair removal device. it’s super easy to use and painless! i was nervous it would hurt but it really is very gentle. they use patented technology to combine both optic and galvanic energy to deliver better results at a lower intensity- making it both safer and more effective than other devices. best home hair removal device on the market for sure.
