Flattering Wardrobe Staple
I bought this on sale for a 70s-themed party. Wore it with a danshiki and it was a smash hit! It is now my favorite Jean because it is so flattering and stylish. I not only feel cool but get LOADS of compliments whenever I wear it. The fabric quality itself is just right - not too soft and not too hard - such that you have structure without sacrificing movement. The way the jean is cut creates a side and front silhouette that would balance most plus-size shapes to give an overall look of soft, shapelier curves. The high rise serves as tummy control and is seamless under my tops. It can be dressed up as much as jeans possibly can or worn as casually as the need dictates - looks good with high heels, trainers, low-heels, slippers... a solid anchor for both summer and winter ensembles. It has retained its shape/color after washing. I bought my current pair about 6mos ago. My size is currently out of stock, but I will be on the lookout and plan to buy 2 more when it is available.
New favorite pair of jeans
I bought 3 pairs of this same style several years ago because they were awesome jeans. The ones I bought several years ago started to wear really badly - because I wore them ALL THE TIME - so I ordered replacements. These did not disappoint! I love the color and the fit. They are not heavyweight denim like some other brands I’ve purchased in the past and I think that makes them less stiff and more comfortable. They are definitely my new favorites.

Don’t buy
Extremely high rise making it uncomfortable! I was hoping this would be the same as the high note flare. Everything else is the same except for the rise. I wish it was a mid rise. Then it would be perfect. But the way it’s made now is bad. It’s extremely high-rise and there’s not much tightness in the lower abdomen, making it look like you have a bigger pooch than you do.
