Another pair of shorts that are way too big. Purchased using waist size and these were a gift. Returns are a hassle as we do not have a local Macy's.

I LOVE these shorts

My waist is 33 inches; The 29 fits me perfectly. Comfortable, nice material, nice pockets, does not make me look fat. You can roll the cuffs up more to make them shorter if you like, or not. I like them so much I ordered a second pair.
