Received the can, absolutely love it. Have always owned simple human products. Fine quality.

Why on earth is the permanent serial number label visible near the top of the back side of the can?? Some people with open-plan kitchens want to place this can on the side of an island (I.e. back will be seen), without the visual disturbance of a label.

Just moved and needed an exposed kitchen trash can. This one is large enough to handle our weekly trash needs. We also have a smaller butterfly step can in the laundry room. These cans are modern with clean lines and easy access for trash. Just step and toss. I love that I don’t need to see or smell trash as the butterfly lid takes care of both issues. Strongly recommend!

I ordered this SimpleHuman butterfly-open kitchen can to finally replace an old Rubbermaid can. While the expense was much more than other kitchen cans, I felt it was justified by the expected long life it affords me. I expect it to be the last kitchen can I ever need to buy, and will leave it to my daughter after ai no longer have my own home. I’m very pleased with it. Thanks for producing such a superior product!

I can’t get off some of the sticker residue on the top. Otherwise it’s great.
