This butterfly design is the best! It is so much better than the standard designed garbage cans.

I have this garbage can at the end of our island in our kitchen, so it does occasionally catch on my clothing if I walk too closely to it and if I have the doors locked open. Otherwise, it functions really well and I really love it.

Product was delivered dented so it was returned for replacement.

I recently purchased a new butterfly trash can to replace the one that I had bought from Simple Human 21 yrs ago. The original still looked like it was brand new except that the soft close was no longer soft closing. The new one is tjhe same and if it lasts half as long as its predecessor it will be amazing. Great product.

How can you beat a beautiful trash can that fits beautifully beneath the overhang of your countertop?

Bought our first split top can when my son was a toddler so he couldn’t get into the garbage. He’s now 17 and we can’t get him to help with the garbage but after 15 years of perfect use we got another!

This can is great and fits under the counter perfectly and opens with room. My suggestion is that a hand hold should be in the front of the can as is in the back. This would make it much easier to lift the can up and out from under the counter so you don’t have to drag it along the floor. I also wish the package of liners could fit in a dispenser hole as on my other can.
