Good design with a big flaw.

I love the design. It fits in a narrow space and is attractive, but the lid does not close by itself. There was no returning something that large, so we just live with it and defeat the purpose of opening it hands free by closing it with our hands and having to wash them each time.

Warranty

We have had our stainless steel can for a couple years. Recently the lid broke, i went online, put in the serial number and they sent a new one. I’m impressed. Thank you simplehuman

Excellent quality

Perfect size!

I bought this because my kitchen is small, and my previous garbage can was impeding with movement. This is so slim that it fits perfectly between my oven and microwave cart and frees up more space to walk, especially when the oven door is open. So happy with this purchase! Plus, the stainless steel and black match my appliances - so its a win-win!

I am thrilled with my purchase of the kitchen stainless steel trash can. This trash can is perfect for the space I have and the liners fit with lots of room for extras after removing from the can. I am happy with the step opener and quiet close of the lid. It is a wonderful design.
