The earrings are very pretty and sparkly in person!
The post is so thick I couldn't put them in my ears. And the lock is so difficult I was afraid if I closed them they would never open again.
Please take other reviews seriously. These earrings are heavy, are not the brilliant amethyst as advertised, but most importantly are extremely difficult to unhook. There is a button release on these earrings that does not release easily. I could not get the earring out of my lobe and this design can easily lead to a torn lobe. Do not recommend.
The earrings were defective and hard to open to put in my ear. I broke one of them trying to open it and my fingers hurt trying to pry it open
