My fiancé loves sewing and making some clothes. She wanted to try this machine out because her old one stopped working and she needed a new one. She says this one is ok. It does not seem to run as smooth as the other one. She has had several different machines before, she said this one isn't the worst but not the best but it does the job.

Great Sewing Machine!
I received this Singer Start 1304 Sewing Macine in the mail and was packaged nicely. I have never bought a Singer Sewing Machine before until now cause i wanted to try it out. This has 57 stitch applications which is nice. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a good reasonable Sewing Machine! I like how it is portable. I can take this anywhere I go. I like to make pillows so this Machine does the job! It does have a 4 step button hole feature that allows me to add button holes on my pillows that I make which is awesome!

I’m in love with it! It’s so easy to use. It’s perfect for me, because I just start to learn how to sew. The machine is lightweight, compact, but powerful. It’s easy to use and you gonna learn it fast. I recommend it.

Great little machine
The Singer Start 1304 Sewing Machine is a nice little machine that is great for anyone that is new or just beginning to sew. It’s small and doesn’t take up a lot of space and it can easily be moved or transported. It’s very simple to use and operate, and it has an online class to help get you familiar with the machine. One of the best features is the dial that lets choose from 57 different selections of stitches and the length of the stitches are preset. It couldn’t get much simpler. It has an LED light and many accessories and uses plastic bobbins. This is a simple basic machine that will teach the basics of sewing .

Love it!!!
I got this sewing machine a few weeks back to add to my small business and I absolutely love it. It’s so easy to use has some stuff with it already which was a major plus and I have used it every other day from making things or just sewing my kids clothes. I would highly recommend it to anyone it’s well worth it.

Live My Singer 1304 machine
I just love my new Singer 1304 sewing machine. I have spent so much time trying to learn to make buttonholes and thanks to this machined I can now so them. Best machine ever. Simple and works amazing. I am a Singer girl now!

Great beginner machine! Get creative!
This is a great sewing machine o get you started on the right foot. I’ve been sewing for forty years and have used all sorts of sewing machines. I chose this machine to teach my teenage daughter to sew and it is perfect - simple stitch selection with everything you need to get started. It even offers a free class on using the machine. It is lightweight so deciding on a whim to make a skirt won’t break your back hauling out the machine. The feet snap on and off and there is a good selection of feet for different tasks. I put this machine through its paces and was able to sew through heavy denim eight layers! It did better on the lighter weight fabrics but it was able to handle hemming jeans which I think is a must for a home sewing machine. If you are new to sewing and want an easy to operate machine that will get you sewing in no time, this is it. Five stars!

Absolutely Great Beginner Machine
I used to sew many many years ago, like 40! I decided it was time again. There are so many neat accompaniments to this Singer Start 1304 Sewing Machine, that it is making my learning so much better. It is easy to thread, has a pedal and long enough power cord. This has an attachment that can be removed for easy on shirt arms or pant legs. The wheel of beginner stitching choices, while made for you, are good choices to have on this machine. It's not very noisy and while I'm going to have to practice more, it works incredibly well. The only things I would change at this moment is maybe to have a clear base, so I can see the bottom bobbin, so as not to run out of thread. The second is the directions that come with this. I appreciate the simple pictures, but it needs more explanation as how to do things to get started for beginner. I had to look up videos (which were easy enough to find). Over all, this is a fantastic machine. I'll be getting my daughters some this Christmas!
