Runs small & long

I wear a size small in all of my athletic wear. I have three other pair of these pants, they run small in the waist so I get them in medium. However, this pair was at least 1 inch smaller in the waist so you definitely need to size up. They are also very long. I am 5’6 and was probably going to have to have them hemmed so I ended up returning these.
