Beautiful, but delicate

Fits like a glove BUT I have had some issues and am concerned I won’t be able to wear it more than a handful of times. Like another reviewer, I followed the care instructions and still wound up with one of the plastic bones sticking out of the seam at the top. My husband tried to zip it for me and the zipper popped off the track (although I’m blaming him for that one, not the dress/maker), BUT once I got it back on the track, the pull broke off! I was determined to wear it, so I pulled it up with pliers and sewed it closed myself, and put the dress on without using the zipper as it fits perfectly and the waistband has some give, and the dress can be slid on and the sleeves put on after. Assembly quality aside, the fabric is a *gorgeous* choice. Not only is it just a beautiful color and texture, but it isn’t too thin, isn’t too thick, and has a perfect weight to it so that it hangs and drapes effortlessly. I will definitely buy similar styles from this brand again, but not at full price, and I may even have this one and any future purchases professionally laundered to avoid further damage.

Very cute but questionable construction

After following the care instructions I inspected the dress so find the stays (or whatever material they used to support the boddes) were poking through the fabric. I got the dress on sale so I’ll keep it but that’s not the only issue with the construction.
