YES IT DOES SHARPEN!!

I USE PHYSICIANS FORMULA DUAL PENCIL SHARPENER. IT SHARPENS GREAT! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. IT'S THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES NOT MELT BY THE END OF THE DAY.

The ONLY eyeliner to buy!

The Always On liner is the only eyeliner I will buy! It stays in all day even in hot/humid environments. It does sharpen, IF you have a good sharpener and clean it regularly. I have tried almost every high end liner and Smashbox will always win!!

Disappointed with the results

A bit disappointed with this eye liner. It goes on too thick. I appears to expand no matter how thin you draw the line. So expect it to expand. This did not last me all day even though it was waterproof.

3D galaxy was amazing! I got compliments every time I wore it and I can't find anything that compares to it. Bring back 3D GALAXY!!!

Great eyeline but does not sharpen

Waste of money! I love how it goes on and lasts but it can not be sharpened. SMASHBOX this one is a flop. If I had used it soon after purchase, I'd return this!! Your products are usually the best! NOT THIS EYEEELINER. And Ijust lightly line over my top eye lids because I just want to add a little shape for my eyes.

We appreciate your feedback. We want to share that the Smashbox Always On Gel Liner is a sharpenable pencil. We recommend using a cosmetic pencil sharpener; sharpen gently in full rotations, and clean your sharpener gently.

USED to love this liner!

This was my go-to, always stocked up on sales eyeliner until recently. The last handful I ordered from Ulta and/or Smashbox have all broken within the first 2 weeks of using them. They used to last around 4-5, even 6 weeks. Any I've bought since Summer of 2024 have all broken and were no longer useable. Because I stock up, I am always past the point of return, which has never been a problem prior. I'm so sad because this was my favorite eyeliner for YEARS and for the price they should not last only 1-2 weeks! Now I'm on the search for a new liner!

Disappointed about the colours

I am giving this a low rating because of the current colors. I have been using the Smashbox Always Sharp eyeliner for several years and absolutely loved it. I loved how easy it is to apply and that it is always sharp without having to fool around with a messy manual sharpener. AND I loved the colors 3D Sparks and 3D Billionaire. They were the most awesome colors with sparkles in them. I do not like the current available colors, there is nothing comparable to what I was using and what I loved. So I will have to search for an eyeliner from another company. Please, please, please bring back 3D Sparks and\or 3D Billionaire!
