Creamy contour stick!
I received this Smashbox PRECISION CONTOUR STICK ALL-OVER FACE DIMENSION STICK in DEEP. My complexion can be described as mahogany to mocha, deep with golden undertones. I applied to my cheekbones, jawline, and hairline with the most perfect match and blend. I like contouring because I can use shadowing for the sides of my nose especially. I used for 7 days straight with professional looking results. I will continue to use this and I am pleased that the ingredients are top notch because I haven't had one blemish although I have the most sensitive skin. Contouring made easy!
I received a Smashbox STEP-BY-STEP CONTOUR PALETTE CONTOUR MEDIUM-DARK for testing. My complexion can be described as mahogany to mocha, deep with golden undertones. This set blended and matched perfectly. I have to admit that although I love the flawless finish and perfection of contouring, it looked way too involved for me and I was too lazy to watch a few YouTube videos to learn. Needless to say this step by step contour palette is a game changer! I scanned the QR code and also followed the diagram for the contour, bronze and highlight and I've been easily beating my face for the past week. My niece thought I had a makeup artist come through. I will continue to use this and I am pleased that the ingredients are top notch because I haven't had one blemish although I have the most sensitive skin. Too emollient for quick, “no-makeup” makeup days.
I was hoping this could be my go-to product for no makeup days, but I could not wear this without powdering it down. Because it is more on the sheer side, the light reflection it provides is kind of the only thing that was slightly correcting my dark circles, so once powdered my under eyes looked more dull (as expected) and just felt heavy with product. It may work well for others but it did not work well with the way I wanted to use it.
