    • HOW TO USE:
    • For the nose:
    • Using the contour shade, apply two lines down the sides of your nose, starting near the beginning of your brow and ending at the tip of your nose; blend product to create shadows for a slimming effect
    • Remember, these lines determine how slim your nose will be, so place them accordingly
    • Using the highlighting shade, accentuate the bridge by applying a thin line from the top to the ball of your nose and blend; this draws the light to the center of your nose, making it look straighter
    • To make the nose look shorter, apply the contour shade to the very tip and underneath the tip between your nostrils to add shadows for the illusion of a shorter nose
    • For the cheeks:
    • Suck in your cheeks to find the perfect hollow from your ear to the corner of your mouth
    • Using the contour shade, apply along this line and blend upward to create the illusion of sculpted cheeks by creating shadows; blend upward to instantly give the illusion of a facelift
    • Apply blush right above the contoured line (on the apples of your cheeks) to create a flushed look
    • For the jawline:
    • Apply the contour shade underneath your jawline to square off your chin for a more sculpted look

My New Favorite

Convenient

This contour kit is convenient but I wish I liked it more. The bronzer shade is my favorite but each powder in the kit seems to be on the drier side. So, definitely moisturize and prep your skin well before use. Seal it in with a hydrating or glow formula setting spray. I'd also say this is more for daytime wear. Great concept

I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes. The step-by-step contour kit didn't meet my expectations. Firstly, I wish a brush had been included. How can you contour on the go without the specific brush? The pigmentation was also very off, with a super dark contour and bronze, but little color in the highlight. The powder was also difficult to blend.

Super smooth

I really loved this contour palette. I liked that the instructions were right on the mirror. It went on so smooth without any patchiness. I also liked the compact packaging. The bronzer has a slight simmer but it's not a glitterfest. I would picked this item up again. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes. My opinion is my own.

Easy for newbies!

Contour products are new to me. I've never worn much makeup throughout my life, but I DO like to wear a bronzer product when I go out and about. I truly enjoyed learning how to use this Smashbox Contour product in the morning on my 62 year old face. It took a few tries to figure out where each 'color' worked best on my face, to get a good contour going. I'll enjoy learning and continuing to use! Give it a try..no matter what your age!
