I prefer glass storage bottles. Love the ribbed bottle design. Easier to grip and hold when using or washing before refilling. Beautiful to sit on a dining table.

We love the glass (not plastic) carafe. They are just about unbreakable. The brush works really well for cleaning.

Top of glass chipped just by putting the lid on. Not sure if it's poor quality or what it might have been. Bottle was never dropped.

They’re both great! My Penguin stopped working properly after about 10 years but really, what more can you expect. The replacement Aqua Fizz is even better. It’s footprint takes up less space and the design allows me to store it on my countertop whereas the penguin was too tall to operate under a cabinet. 100% recommend.

It's a glass jar, so it's not hard to imagine it works as it should. I would not buy another one because it does not hold a full soda stream bottle. That's dumb. Probably my fault for not reading details closely, but it's still annoying.

The summer orange soda syrup is so refreshing mixed with the sparkling water. And, I love the glass bottles, they look so nice on the table. I always keep about 8 in the fridge.

This is my second set of carafes that I have purchased and I love them. For a long time I thought they were indestructible because I dropped them on asphalt, concrete, slate, wood floors - you name it I dropped the carafe on it; however, I did finally break one on a concrete garage floor. I highly recommend this carafe - I. Addition to them being g durable everyone I know has comment on how beautiful the design is. The ridges in the bottle also help with grip.

It holds charge very well. Top I s m u ch improved.
