Terrible design and packaging

In the online pictures these look like pretty earrings. However, they arrived in such tight, terrible UPS packaging that I could barely get the earrings out and had to cut off all the plastic in multiple layers. And, the way the earrings are designed, the Lotus charms absolutely cannot hang properly from the thin wire they are threaded on. I had to struggle to even get one to sit at the bottom of the wiring and was afraid it would break, and it still popped back up on the wire and wouldn't hang. This is ridiculous. I am returning them.
