ALICE FEENEY'S NEW YORK TIMES AND INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER "Boldly plotted, tightly knotted-a provocative true-or-false thriller that deepens and darkens to its ink-black finale. Marvelous." -AJ Finn, author of The Woman in the WindowMy name is Amber Reynolds. There are three things you should know about me- 1. I'm in a coma. 2. My husband doesn't love me anymore. 3. Sometimes I lie. Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can't move. She can't speak. She can't open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn't remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from twenty years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks- Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth.

Highly Recommend!

Alice Feeney just never misses for me. So many twists and turns throughout. Every time I thought I knew the direction things were going...BAM...another crazy twist. Also love an unreliable narrator.

A unique thrill filled with unpredictable twists!

A few years back, I read "Sometimes I Lie," which left an impression. Although I didn't write a review then, the twists and turns of the plot stuck with me. I decided to listen to the audiobook, which was just as thrilling the second time! I've read quite a few of Feeney's books, each offering its own unique thrill. While some have captivated me more than others, they've all delivered an entertaining ride! She's officially on my auto-read list. I can hardly contain my excitement when I spot a new release, and I always try to snag an early reader's copy because who can wait? #sometimesilie #alicefeeney #audiobook #macmillanaudio #kindleunlimited #bookedandbingo #reader #read #honestreview #thriller #bookreviewer #thrillerbooklovers #thepulse #thrillerfriendsunite #thrillerobsessedbookishclub #TalkWordyToMeTeam #lovetoread #lovebooks #booknerd #readaholic #bookstagrammer #booktok #bookish #capcut

No idea what was going on, in a good way

I read this book super fast. I have to say that you have got to pay attention to all of the characters and details or else the plot twist may be confusing. When I first read through the twist, I had to sit back and pull files from deep in my brain and rethink the whole plot of the story from a different perspective. If you want a novel that keeps you on your toes and guessing, this is the one. It jumps around from the main character being in a coma, journal entries from childhood, and from around the time of the incident. The author wrote this intentionally and thoughtfully which is shown with their ability to manipulate detail and perspective. Highly recommend.

WHAT?!

I read this book in less than 24 hours. This book had me audibly saying wtf (in the best way). As you continue reading you get confused and then are left with your jaw hitting the floor. This book was phenomenal

Amazing

This book it honestly changed me. As you go on it gets harder to understand and more confusing yet you are able to grasp what happens. It was very well written.

I couldn’t put the book down

Finished this novel in two days! It was a real page turner that literally left me with my jaw on the floor. Just when you may think you know what’s going on you really really don’t. It’s dark, sinister, and yet so satisfying.

A Little Boring, Great Twists at the End

Honestly, the book was a little boring BUT if you can make it to the last quarter, it’s insane and there were so many twists that I didn’t see coming. Super messed up and basically allll the trigger warnings. I’m so curious what other people think about this one. Do you ever read a book and not like it until the end and then wonder if the whole thing was good and you just weren’t paying attention?
