Great lightweight, relatively compact camera
Bought 3 weeks ago and am very pleased with it. Primary purpose initially is to photograph negatives using a macro lens and film/slide carrying equipment to provide me with digital images I can reproduce. Results so far have been excellent. Beyond that the camera will become a general purpose unit and the layout of the controls suits me very well. The Sony function on screen menu is not the best but OK. Would have liked the facility to name memory cards and custom number individual files - it might do this, but I haven’t found out how - yet!

Nice camera WiFi connection is complex
I have used the camera a couple of times. It is very comfortable to hold and simple to use in fully automatic mode. What has been a lot less simple is downloading the photographs. I have failed using all advice to connect to my phone wirelessly which was one reason I bought it. I will check the software for updates when I get some cable adapters to connect to my microsoft laptop. If all eelse fails I will have to transfer the photos to that and e-mail them. Not what I hoped for

Nice Camera
I'm really happy with my Sony a6400. The autofocus is incredibly fast and reliable, and the colors it produces are pleasing to my eyes straight out of the camera. It's been a great camera to use, and I'm very satisfied with its overall performance.

Handy sized camera
I got this camera a few weeks ago, as a camera for my travels, due to being a good compact size and weight, with the 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 lens, which has proved adequate for my photography. The controls on the camera are well laid out, though I had to figure out why the focus point keep jumping away from where I placed it when focusing on subject, and I have since figured this out via videos on You Tube. So it is early days for me with this great camera and I enjoy using it.

Great Compact Camera
I bought this as a more compact alternative to my Fujifilm XT-1. Previously my second camera was a Leica X1 which had a fabulous lens albeit fixed , but some of the controls were easily knocked out of place. I bought a used a6000 for my little granddaughter to start off in photography and was so impressed I thought I would get myself an A6400 so we could share lenses. The a6400 hasn't disappointed and I'm sure once I get used to the menu's it will be great. I do a lot of sports photography and tried the a6000 out at a rugby match with the kit telephoto which came with the a6000. I was extremely impressed especially as the camera was so light compared to the Fuji. My intention is to use the fuji when the weather is bad as it is fully weather sealed(body and lenses). I will use the Sony in better weather and for Summer cricket and street photography where the light weight will be a bonus. I'm very impressed with build quality and positive control functions.

Better than could be expected !
My first impressions was that the camera fitted very well in my hand. It felt robust and oozed quality. But I wondered if I had made a mistake as it was so different from my bulky DSLR. I spent a few hours photographing a local seaside town and an hour in and the camera was an extension of my self. The results were fantastic. The move to a Sony APS C has proved to be a very satisfying experience.
