Sharp, clear, fast AF and it is G title

I am happy with my purchase as I just need 1 Len to cover focal length from 16 to 55 at f2.8 and it provides me fast & reliable AF & crispy clear sharp images.. the only thing is price as compared to competitors but it definitely good to have 1

Is a super good lens

16-55mm F2.8G is a super good lens to use either for travel or just normal shoot. It can create a very soft bokeh effect.

This is one spectacular APSC lens

I do mostly video with an FX-30. I expected I would use my motorized 18-105 f/4 APSC zoom G-lens more because of the extra zoom factor and the motor, an use the 16-55 for beauty stills or special shots. But instead I use this all the time. The 18-105 just does not focus close enough and you can't beat the 2.8 aperture. I wish they'd offer a motorized zoom version of this, but I guess they can't fit the motor.

Great All-rounder

If you could only have one lens and you shoot Super 35 (APS-C) then this is the lens to choose. F2.8 throughout the zoom, it’s a very fine accompaniment to the Sony fx30. Highly recommended…
