Decent Lens, but Autofocus Is Weak

Overall, I think this lens offers good value for the price. Of course, the image quality is not quite at the same level as Sony’s GM lenses, but that is understandable given the significant price difference. For what it costs, the optical performance is still quite decent and satisfactory. However, based on my personal experience, the main issue has been the autofocus performance. The autofocus sometimes struggles to lock onto subjects consistently, which can be frustrating, especially in situations where quick and accurate focusing is important. I hope Sony can improve the autofocus reliability in future updates or versions

Lightweight wide zoom lens on the go

Used this lens the first time in my recent Southern Thailand trip. Is lightweight and excellent sharpness from centre to edge. Focus speed is fast and silent as well.
