Absolutely shocking boots - such a shame- Love sorrel- love your iconic snow boots- built to last- but these boots - shocker- why have you allowed these into your lines up? What an own goal- did any of you try these out? They are definitely not water proof- build quality a joke- brand damaging guys!!!

Not really waterproof.
I bought this with the intention of hiking with it. I like the looks and the weight, but my feet would get wet when walking on wet grass. I returned it and got a new one thinking it was a defective product. Got a new pair and same thing happened.

Comfortable, made very well
Perfect, as expected. With the sale price, it made it a little more affordable. These replaced a pair which was worn daily for 5yrs, even enduring long hikes often.

Weird Design Choice
These are the boots that made me question everything I thought I knew about Sorel. They are clearly taking the brand in a very different direction and it’s not good. First of all the boots are extremely uncomfortable and the quality isn’t great. They’re not actually hiking boots… they’re dress shoes designed with the aesthetic of hiking boots without the sole to support an actual hike at any distance. The fact that they make these waterproof is almost ironic because wearing these onto any trail at all will leave your feet so incredibly sore you won’t be able to hike again for a week. Maybe they’re build for walking to your car when it’s raining outside after a long day of sitting at your desk in the office? Whatever the case they’re not design for outdoor activities.

Disappointed with modified style
Disappointed, but it's my own doing. I have a slightly older pair of the same shoe and love them. I did not notice that the model had been modified since, rendering the look very different from the original. I am sure the craftsmanship it the same, but the change is not what I was hoping for, and the photos published do not demonstrate clearly enough the differnce.
